Weekend At Home!

In case you didn't know from the title, I got to go home this weekend! I originally wasn't going to because I had a ton of homework and I don't like to take my homework home. However, if I didn't go home this weekend I wouldn't be able to go home until after Halloween so, of course, I had to put off my homework until the last minute and went home to see everyone.
This weekend was the busiest one yet! Friday night, my dad came and picked me up and the second I got home (I obviously went inside to see my puppies first) I went to Panda with one of my friends and then to her house to watch movies. We didn't actually end up watching any movies, but we did sing Hamilton and Kesha all night and I taught her how to do a sock bun which was so much fun. Her grandma had to kick me out at 2 in the morning!

On Saturday morning, my old choir was learning choreography and the choir teacher let me come in! It was so crazy being back there after so long and it was so nice to see everyone. I felt like I was home. I missed that auditorium and the choir room so much (and obviously the choir teacher and everyone in choir). I actually cried when I saw them dancing. For the homecoming song this year, they are doing the song I did my sophomore year (the first time I was in the homecoming assembly with choir) and the choreography is even pretty much the same. It made the fact that I'm in college so much more real. After I left, my dad and I went to go get new phones (we both really needed them, and I had to be there for either of us to get one) and we spent like four hours at the store and I was late to one of my friend's birthday party. I got invited super last minute, but I'm so glad that I went because it was so much fun.

Her (16th) birthday party was Masquerade themed and everyone looked so amazing, especially the birthday girl. We all were super fancy and had masks and it was honestly amazing. There was musical chairs, amazing music, and amazing people. We were at the party from 5:00-8:00, then we went to Chuck E. Cheese, because why not, from about 9:00-10:00, and then we went to Peter Piper Pizza from 10:00-11:00. At Peter Piper, I was playing that one game where you have to lift the lever and then you push it down and it spins the wheel and there's something about fishing involved. Anyway, so the first time I did it I won the jackpot (500 tickets); it was the first game I played too. I got this super cute Pizza action figure for my friend and I, and of course, a giant slinky. After Peter Piper closed, however, the night was not over. We then went over to my friend's house where we played pool and Headbands. She had a HUGE dog named Charlie which was super cute, but I am TERRIFIED of big dogs (It's a long story, but I basically got attacked by a 'big' dog when I was four or five) so that was super fun. I was panicking every time he came near me, but eventually he went outside and I forgot all about him and the rest of the night was amazing. There was even a bunny! At about 12:30, my friend that was taking me home had to go so we left.

The next morning, I unfortunately had to go back to school. I did get some Humberto's though on the way so I was very happy. I really miss everyone and the more I go home, the harder it is to come back. I just want to be there with all of my friends and my family and my puppies. I wouldn't want to be at any other college though, I just wish I wasn't so far away from everyone.
